Self Discipline

It's so easy, when you're at home to slack off on yourself. I'm sure you're taking care of the kids schedule, cleaning house, worrying about the bills, etc. But in addition to doing everything for others, you need to take a long look in the mirror and see if you're slacking off on "You". Are you getting fat? Are you becoming a non-caring person? It's 2:00 in the afternoon, have you taken a shower yet? Have you lost "You"?

What do I mean about that? It's so easy to loose "You". You've got a lot on your mind. You take care of others. Everyone has needs and those needs are taken care of. But what about you? When was the last time that you took a moment for yourself? When was the last time you really got cleaned up? When was the last time you took a walk? When was the last time you turned off the "chores" frame of mind and just sat in a chair to take in the breeze and the sky?

Take some time to pamper yourself in a small way. Take stock in yourself. Take a moment to take care of yourself. Remember who you are. It's so easy to loose "You". If you don't remember anything else, remember that it's "You" that all of these people depend on, and it's "You" that everyone looks up to. Whether they show it or not.
